NW dog to root for in a couple weeks
« on: February 05, 2017, 04:33:00 AM »
Big Rock von Kobe qualified for the US Shooting Dog Invitational Championships by winning National chukar shooting dog, Oregon shooting dog, and Pacific coast shooting dog championships. The Invitational Championship runs the  top 12 open shooting dogs in the United States and only places a champion with $7500 prize.

Kobe is the only nubtail in the bunch being a shorthair.
There are only two types of dogs: wolves and wirehaireds.

Sweet.  I'd love to see more dogs from the PNW qualify for the big Championships.  Not sure there's any running at Ames this year....  Heck, I'd even love to see more dogs from the PNW running in their breed Nationals.

The shorthair guys were smart to split from the AKC.  I only wish the Brittany guys would do the same.
