So found this guy after passing up maybe 30 bucks wayyyyyyy up on top and bedded down in the sage. my heart was pounding once he stood up and looked right back at us. I'm happy and I'll consider this a successful hunt. I'm sure that there are some bigger bucks in there, but I couldn't pass this guy up and go home empty-handed on the last day.

It's not always what you put in the freezer, but the memories you come home with.

Great buck. I wouldn't have passed it up on the first day.

Damn...that's a heck of a buck. Congrats!!

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

100%! Noses to the ground and completely oblivious. Had another 3pt walk 40 yards away from us while field dressing

Great deer! I'd gladly put a quality tag on that deer.

That's a Jim Dandy buck! I'd gladly use my hard earned points on that buck.

Thanks! He was certainly the biggest one we saw, but there were a couple WIDE 2s out there too.
