Sherman whitetail late archery
« on: October 21, 2016, 06:00:17 PM »
Hey guys! I know this question has been asked plenty of times. I have read a few of them. I am considering something new this late season.  I have always been a west side hunter and am just sick of it. Took the last couple of years off to raise my daughter, managed to get the go ahead to hunt this fall. Early archery was a bust, all my old spots have become pay to play (I am furious about this) I never saw a deer after the sun came up. Just sick of the way west side hunting is heading. So I have decided to head over to the 101 to look for something new. I will have 4 days to hunt after Thanksgiving.  Really looking just to fill the freezer to bust the tag soup curse I have become famous for.  Want to show my wife and daughter I can get it done. Can anyone give me a starting point? Not looking to sit under your tree stand just a spot to find a stupid doe.
Wait! What?

Just curious, how did you pick the 101 unit?

Read a couple of articles, also have spent some time on curlew  area.  Any other recommendations are welcome. I am just looking for decent odds.
Wait! What?

My interpretation of the rules are open to interpretation.
Once I thought I was wrong but I was mistaken.

I'd reccomend lower areas near the river.
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

You will find deer if you put your time in. there is not a bad place to hunt deer in NE WA.
