Daughters first deer!
« on: October 23, 2016, 04:39:22 PM »
Took my 9 year old daughter Emily over to the 101 unit for the youth any whitetail hunt Wednesday after work and she was able to pull it off last night.  50 yard shot from our ground blind with her 7mm08.  Deer went maybe 60yards on a double lung shot.

grats to her.
hey you get a bear yet ? can't find the thread in the bear one so thought I'd ask?

D-Rock425 congrats to your daughter. We ran into you and her up in 101 near Trout Lake. We were camped on the corner as it flattens out. Let me tell you my first impression of you was....That is a very special father! Then your daughter getting out of the vehicle as we chatted on Bisbee so she could tell her hunting adventures and what she'd seen so far. Great job Emily!
