Backyard Bear down..
« on: October 26, 2016, 08:46:12 AM »
I couldn't really have this guy keep hanging out around my backyard around the swingset. Been eating apples for a week or so. Yesterday he made the mistake of coming in when I was home at 6:00. Ten yard head shot took care of him. He has a ear tag so I need to call and find out more about him.

Well done!

Cool!  Be interesting to find out the history of that bear, please update us when you do.

All I've been able to find out so far is that the bear was orphaned. And spent time at a rehabilitation facility.  Don't know when or where exactly they released it.

Yum yum, he will be a good eater. Yeah, you can't have bears hanging around the back yard with children around. This is a win win for everyone, except the bear that is!
