It's a monster.  Sure wish it was hard horned though

Having never harvested a velvet buck can you preserve the velvet? How much do you think he paid for that buck?
My dad has an archery blacktail he shot in California in 1999 that was in velvet and still has its velvet.

Some prefer fuzz some don't.
Makes an already huge buck look even bigger that's for sure.

That buck will be stripped of his velvet then the taxidermist will put velvet back on.

I've seen on caribu hunts they'll inject fymaldihyde.my spell check couldn't even figure that one out lol

Because to get it officially scored for Boone and Crockett they have to be hard horned.
