duck calls!!
« on: October 27, 2016, 02:37:35 PM »
Hey just curious if anyone out there could point me in the direction of a local waterfowl call company! I need one last call for my lanyard and was hoping to find a company here in Washington. Thanks, Levi

Troy Taylor makes Taylor Talker duck and goose calls. He runs Ruckus Outfitters along with Robert Strong. Robert is the current WA State Duck calling champion who is going to Stuttgart next month. Troy makes some really nice calls. He's also on FB.
Bill Saunders makes calls as well and he's in the Tri Cities.

Pacific Calls is out of Spokane and S2 calls are out of Oregon. A lot of good call companies to choose from in this area.

I just picked up a "deuce" double reed from pacific calls. Definitely one of my favorites and my new #1

Nice!! Good thing Troy comes over to the Quincy area lots during the season. You should try to meet up with him to hand deliver it  and he can hear you call and possibly even tweak it for you.

Just picked up a Saunders and I hate to say that I would look elsewhere.  The quality control was horrendous.

I have a few of Pacific calls.  I have hunted with Trevor as well.  He builds a good call.  Might be worth checking out.  Eric Strand still builds the S2 calls, but has sold that side of the business to Point Blank Calls.  Might be worth checking out as well.  Lots of options around.  Or give the guys on this forum a try that build a few of them.  I believe they may use Echo inserts.
