The area I'm hunting is a super thick area with alders along a creek and Doug fir. I just sneak in sit and wait.

I also knew that would work (for someone, just not for me).  Way to think it out and have the patience to stick with the plan, and then be calm enough to get the pic of the big buck after you shot the puny one.  :chuckle:

Lol! I was in awe. I just stood there and watched him follow the does and watched the other bucks try to get close. A couple of times he was within 20 yards of me. My kid went back in there later and shot another buck. I never saw the one he ended up shooting when I was in there.
