Yes but u r restricted to all the harvest restictions as if u were hunting with a gun. And u CAN dispatch ur wounded animal with your pistol as long as the pistol is it legal to hunt with. I believe you can use a crossbow with a scope as well without a disabled permit during modern firearm season with a modern firearm tag
