I hope so! I'm headed to NC next week for 10 days and hope to get a few good days in the field.

Heading to 121 in NE WA tomorrow evening through the 14th.  Definitely going to have to give rattling a try after reading this thread and 3Nails older rattling thread.  Hopefully, they are starting to rut up a bit.  Stoked!

I preffer not to rattle because I hunt public land and everyone seem to try it. I like to spot and stalk, moving very slowly. I do however bring a bleat call and a grunt call with me and will let a call or two out every 1.5 hours or so to stir things up. I have only had success rattling on private land where bucks weren't heavily hunted. Good luck to everyone, TIME TO FILL THE DEER TAG!😀💥🔫

This is what I did today...I only had 5-10yd visibility and no luck what so ever....I did find an old grade that went into a nice bench but wasn't far off the road and I lost count at 16 scrapes....it's open timber though and I tried rattling in there with no luck either

So my rattlin horns have been soaking for several days to make em sound better but there was no clarification on how long I should soak my grunt tube to make it sound better, is that also a week? :dunno:

This could be a stupid question but does it make a difference using a set of mulie antlers to rattle for whitetails?

I've used both with success. I'll be taking both sets for my ID hunt next week.
