Well we are over here doin it. Got here midday and got settled in just in time to get an evening hunt in. One rattle, one buck rattled in. Hunting partner couldn't get a shot off at it though.

Just got to ID, got here to late to get out this evening. They had their first snowfall today, so I guess it's been warm. We'll see how it goes in the morning

If you've been waiting on the rut, trust me, this snow/cooler temps is just what the Dr. ordered.

Was getting ready to head up to area 111 this morning to try some rattling. Found the passenger window on the Tahoe smashed so will have to wait a day or two until I can get it replaced. Bummer !!!!!!!!!

Well I'm 1 for 1.5??? First set got no response, went to my next spot and there were deer already bedded there. Deer busted but I figured whatever, and setup to do my sequence, does blet, grunt, about to start rattling...boom. my dad shot a spike. His first deer ever, he's happy, I'm happy

Didn't rattle this guy up.  He died because he was following a cute doe across a wheat field though.  Definitely rutting...
