This a love hate topic for me. I've found a ton of stashed crap in the backcountry. I guess I'm ok with you stashing a lil something, but it never gets pulled back out when done, or you forget, or you just don't end up going back to that area. Well, then animals get into it and it's strung all over and makes a beautiful place look like a damn dump!So at the end of the day, I guess I hate it!
Some people I know will sometimes hike a bunch of jugs of water up to their camping site ahead of the hunting season so that they don't need to make runs down to water during the season. That seems okay to me. Leaving food seems like a bad idea though because something is going to get to it eventually.
What about packing in large water proof boxes to store entire camps in buried to the lid with a light cover of directors and sticks ....... and they just bring in supplies as needed through out the year I'm sure we have all thought about it at one point
I really thought this topic was about something else.. just me? ok ok.
