Pogue late WT
« on: November 13, 2016, 12:20:11 PM »
Now that I got my bull elk out of the way, Ive decided to head up to Pogue to look for a whitey.  This was the first season I haven been there for the opener since I was a kid, but the back needed to heal and I focused what little effort I had left in me on getting an elk in the freezer.  I figured numbers would be rough post-fire, and just didnt feel a need to go for the opener.  It would be nice to get one, but Im more so looking for an opportunity to see whats in my hunting area post season and during the rut.... If there is anything left to be seen.

I hunted there a couple days in early season and there were some whitetails.
Good luck.
