There out day was on sat. they chose to hike out, one on thursday and the other two on friday. The season closed on friday. And no this does not happen often. I have to get the camps out after the clients due to the heartbeat rule. Dont even get me started on the twelve heartbeat rule.It takes 4 trips per camp not counting if they get an elk down or bringing in more supplies.  Thanks for all positive input on this matter.
What's the 12 heart beat rule?
In archery we have something like the way of the superior man. When the archer misses the center of the target, he turns round and seeks for the cause of his failure in himself.

Is that a wall tent shop product? How big is it and how many rafters are used in the frame?

the different wildernesses have a rule of how many people or how many stock animals can be in a party.  The ones I'm familiar with are 12 people max and 8 animals max, but it can vary slightly by ranger district.

Yes it is a wall tent shop wilderness tent. That tent was a 14 by 16 with a 5 rafter system and 1" emt  just wont stay up with a real wet heavy snow and no heat. The 12 heartbeat  rule is no more than 6 animals on the trail at one time if they all have riders, if you take your dog there is another heartbeat. It takes 4 to 5 pack mules to put in one of my camps. So its 4 trips min to get the camp and hunters in.

The heart beat rule is a joke.

Especially when all it does is make the same dude travel the trail twice as much.

Every extra trip the outfitter just beats the trail more.

Trail maintenance and enforcement is a whole other thingy.

They would be far better off the allow the outfitter to roll in there once with however many mules they need...........

...........But the forest managers driving Subaru's ain't that smart.
As a matter of fact they are probably still out protesting the election.

Make a guy travel the trail more than once and he's likely to clean the trail out because the maintenance crew only gets to every 5 or 6 years...
