bulk meat bag taper

getting ready to grind up a bunch of pork and make some bulk breakfast sausage. looking to use the 1 lb bags rather than weigh it out and vac-seal it. anyone ever use one of these machines to tape the tops ? i've seen a you-tube video of some cajuns making bulk sausage and they were using this taper with the bags...or should i use the hog rings to seal the bags ? thanks

I just use the hog rings, but just on my salami and summer sausage casings. I never use the bags. I only vacuum seal everything now.

I use the taper and bags. I really like them. Very easy and they work well.

we also use the taper, give the bag a half turn and then tape it seems to hold better for us.
