Big Skagit Blacktail down

Tagged out this afternoon on a nice Skagit co Blacktail, story and pic tomorrow draggin them things out is a might harder @ 59 then it was @ 27.

Not good with pics and computer, sorry.17 inches wide 155 lbs gutted and O fat. 2 shots with my BLR 243 Leupold 4-14 shot distance was approx. 100 yards. Oh and he was a salamander neck.Oh this was a quality hunt unit 437 sauk.

Doesn't look like he was a big bodied deer.   Perhaps you dragged him so far that all the meat felll out?  Congratulations on your success.
