You just have to go for it unless you know someone who has it or willing to return if needed. Pant sizes run true but tops are 1-2 sizes small.

Now is the time if you're thinking about it. 30% off everything in stock until tomorrow

The only bad thing about their sales is they are always out of stock. You couldn't order anything really right now in either of their camo patterns. They should stop having sales if they can't stock the sale items. They were out of at least half of their stuff over a week ago and only have a few items in Stock at this point.

I was the same way I wanted to have it in my hands and after 6 months of  going back and forth I bite the bullet and ordered 2x on Yukon pants and coat and haven't looked back since! The fit is great (I'm 6'2 260 at the time of order and now 245) very comfortable clothes and will be purchasing gaiters, gloves, base layers, and early season gear without hesitation  if your down towards Grays harbor before you purxhase and want to check it out shoot me a pm

Thanks everyone for the help/ reassurance. Im still pretty skeptical but I'm heading in the right direction. The only bad thing I've heard about them is there problem with being able to keep the shelf's stocked. I guess that problem speaks for itself to.

So what made you guys commit to kuiu when you knew you couldn't put hands on  when you could put hands on something like sitka? Just didn't like what was out there and wanted to try something new or what? Had a buddy that had some or saw it and bought one or two things to try from kuiu and went all in?

I've never had too much of a problem getting anything I ordered. Now might be a little difficult. But after the holidays are over it shouldn't be an issue.

I tried the core4element stuff before Kuiu and I didn't like the fit of the pants. Super saggy. I tried on the Sitka stuff at sportsmans and liked it. But the price was crazy. After seeing some guys on here post reviews of the Kuiu stuff I looked in to it. The story behind Kuiu is pretty Kool. I've been lucky with everything I've ordered, it's all fit great. The customer service is awesome too.

I'd suggest meeting up with someone here who has some Kuiu that u can try on and check out. If you're ever coming thru SW wa I've got all my stuff in 34 bottoms and large tops.

Just go for it tho, you won't regret it!

I'm 6'4" 230, My experience with Kuiu is,

Attack Pants - Primary
Kenai Puffy w/o Hood - Primary
Kenai Gloves - Sold, wear cabelas wool glomitt with FL wool liner
1/4 Zip Tee - Primary Early season
Guide & Lite Beanies - Primary, Lost my lite beanie won't buy another
Neck Gaiter - Primary

The risk that something doesn't fit means I try to research a ton and think about my style of hunting and how this item fits into my system. Returns have always been smooth. My personal opinion is that you might struggle with kuiu's cut depending on your shape at 6'2" 270.

If you are trying to stick with one camo pattern you are going to miss out on some of the best gear this market is producing.

My current setup is Multicam, Vias, Fusion, Green/brown wool. Exo, Kuiu, FL, cabelas.

I'm hoping to loose another thirty lbs by the time I order new camo. So hopefully by than I won't have a problem with their cuts. Here's hoping i can loose so e lbs! How do the kuiu gaitors stand up against kenetreks or the OR stuff? I was looking at getting one of those two gaitors before next season.

The KUIU gaiters are far superior to the Kenetreks. They aren't as heavy as the ORs, they don't have a zipper. They are very good gaiters though for keeping out the water. They aren't as tough as Cordura but they aren't as noisy either.

If i were getting new gaiters, I'd look First Lite Bramblers...yeah I know not a matching set  :chuckle:
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I'd like to get the matching set. Not against mixing gear though
Just priced out sitka gear... 1500 bucks with a discount of 15%! Geez that's a bunch of money.
Priced out kuiu yesterday and if I remember correctly it was somewhere around 900 for the gear I want..

KUIU is expensive, but nice. I can't imagine spending that much on Sitka gear. Crazy prices  :o

Go with the kuiu you'll really like it.
Very comfortable and warm the stretch in the material makes a big difference.

What does everyone like as far as the different lines of clothes? The Tiburon, peleton, merino?

The Chugach raingear I would get. Otherwise firstlite baselayers, at 270 # I would look at Sitka for mid / outer layers.

Agreed
