Last day IEP Unit 124 success, and FIRST BUCK.
« on: November 20, 2016, 05:43:27 AM »
My cousin Jeremy's son Andre got it done yesterday in 124 on the last day of late buck with this handsome 4x4. He was so thrilled to take his fist ever buck. We set him on a ridge overlooking a big plateau and some finger draws. Jeremy and I did a big drive in a circle around him. We chased out 2 bucks and 5 does total on the drive twoards him. Andre shot him on the move through the neck. The deer made it about 75 yards and died. Couldn't find any blood, I trailed his tracks and kick out marks to find him pilled up in a draw. The buck was shot with his twin brothers 1917 Enfield 30-06 shooting 150grain Remington Core-Lokt ammo.

Thanks everyone, I am very proud of Andre for sticking it out all the way for his first buck. He is a 4th generation hunter in my family and hunting heritage is HUGE in our family.
