Attaching bullet to Euro mount

Getting my bull Euro mount back tomorrow from the taxidermist, and was fortunate to recover my bullet out of the back shoulder of my elk.

Wanted to attach it to the skull or plaque somehow, anyone done this before? Using wire and glue? Little shelf below the skull? Just looking for ideas!

You could hot glue or apoxy it to the plaque.

Maybe drill a small hole in the side and glue a piece of drill rod into the projectile and plaque. This way it would stand away from the plaque and give depth.

I've been thinking something similar, so it hangs off the plaque and can see all sides of it.

That's a cool opportunity. I have the casing from my first deer on the euro mount plaque but never found more than tiny fragments of a bullet. Be sure to post a pic of it when you finish I am intrigued.

I will. Might be a bit before I figure out exactly what I'm gonna do, but should be a fun project

Maybe make some sort of necklace for lack of better description?  Basic small screw in eyelet into the tail end of the bullet, then thin metal chain like the lamp cord type?  You could then put that around the base of skull, or even base of the antlers and have it hang..  Would be removable to show people that way too if they were curious.

A few years ago I made a euro for my son's first buck.  I used a very shallow router so the casing could "sit" in the hole and just super glued it.  I did several test on scrap wood first to get the right depth

The only thing is that since this was a muzzy bullet, it got pretty deformed. I like being able to spin it around and look at it from different angles though. Good stuff.

Then use a fishing snap swivel to get that rotation you are looking for.

I know it's a casing not a bullet but one I did for a buddy
