121 Late Bull
« on: November 21, 2016, 07:39:51 PM »
Seems to be a lack of post's this year from moose tag holders.  Figured I would share a couple pictures of my fortune.  I was lucky enough to draw a late tag for unit 121.  I grew up in the area and remember when the moose population was just getting started there, and since then have dreamed of being able to hunt them.  I haven't lived in Washington state for fifteen years and was a bit concerned about how much the area had changed and what kind of success I might have.  With the help of family members that still live in the area we were able to find this bull.  After a few days of hunting and looking over several bulls I was thrilled to be able to put my tag on such a great representative of the Shiras moose.  I am thankful for my families help and that I was able to share this experience with them.  I got a little bonus whitetail to take home as well.  Best of luck to anyone who is fortunate enough to pull a tag in the future.  It was a great time and I am thankful for the experience.  God has blessed us abundantly, we need to make sure we take time to enjoy and thank Him for all the beauties of this earth and the blessings He has provided for us.

Outstanding.  Hope the pack wasn't too bad. I'm still recovering from my cow hunt.
