How are ya liking it? I've been looking to get one.

Where'd you pick it up? I'm close by in La Center.

I bought mine at Sporting Systems in downtown Vancouver. Awesome Guys.

First impressions so far is its a VAST improvement over the previous generation.

Pros:

Grip is a little bigger and fits the hand better

Sights are taller although ill still put some orange paint on the front one.

Trigger is WAY better than the old one, not the same as a Glock but close. Glocks are spongy, then you hit that wall, then break. The LCP just has play in it, no resistance, then you hit the wall, then it breaks. Not fantastic but much better than the old one.

Comes with two magazine base pads, one flush, one finger extension.

I have it in my front pocket now, I forget its there.

Cons:

Comes with an ok pocket holster. its a bit tight and needs some breaking in. first couple practice draws it came out on the gun. Probably will replace it.

Only comes with one magazine. I DESPISE when gun company's do this. drives me crazy. I think all guns should come with 3, but the very least 2. Ill order a couple more here soon.

Overall I think its well worth the 3 bills on first impressions. Hoping to get out to the range here in couple weeks.

Awesome thanks for the review. I'll have to check out the shop, and the lcp II. I've been looking for a small pocket style carry, and the improvements over the original lcp sound nice.

I bought an XDS a while back for carry, when I was first getting in to hand guns, and it's still too big for me to personally carry.

Let us know how your range time goes with it!

Last time I was there and I was picking up mine they still had one in the display case. Probably gone now but they will put you on a waiting list and give you a call when one comes in and hold it for the day. that's how I got mine. like I said great group of guys, love having a local gun shop again.

I originally looked at other guns for my backup (my primary is a G26). I ALMOST bought the glock G42, but I found it to be a bit too big for my pocket. The Kahr had reliability issues, the Bodyguards trigger left a lot to be desired, the Sig and kimbers were too expensive for the purpose and are SAO. The LCP II came out just in time to save me and seem to have hit the mark. I hope it does what I need it to at the range (assuming I do my part).
