Late Season Mule Deer Hunt

Lots of people and not alot of good bucks made it tough. Still had a good time though.

Here is a video I put together.

Cool video. Thanks for sharing.

I got some pics of that big 150 class buck in your video  as well. He is the biggest I've seen all season. I watched him get taken by those other guys you mentioned.

Hunted every day. Seeing 60-100 deer a day. I've seen 3 for sure legal bucks including him. A few others I'm sure were but couldn't tell for sure. Tons and tons of does and lots of small, non legal bucks. Not sure what the deal is.

The hunter numbers seemed pretty normal. I think I saw one guy in the field away from the roads.

never use to be as bad of an issue with "inconsiderate hunters" until the introduction of multi season tags. It sure has taken a turn for the worse!!!

Id like to see that hunt go to a draw. Make it a 100% draw but if you purchase the tag, thats the only tag you can hunt. I would like to see the same happen with the high hunt. It would relieve pressure in the high country, general seasons & the late seasons IMO

Can't make a 1% success rate a draw tag for the high hunt.

I agree with you here.  Multi season tags should go too.  Something has to give.

I feel like that percentage would increase with fewer people up there.

We had two opp on that buck as well. Biggest we saw up there. I live in Wenatchee n look at Swakane daily first time hunting the late season. I don't know why any one would hunt that hunt there were no animals n hunters every where.
