So sad.  Prayers and thoughts with the family and friends as they go through this terrible loss.  My hunting buddy is with TPD; I worry about him all the time.

Such a sad deal, I know what you are saying Phantom16 my buddy is with Auburn PD I have worried about him for almost 30 years.
Very sad day for all involved and my thoughts go to the TPD

As proud as I am of the work he did, I will not lie, as a son of a former officer I sleep much better at night knowing he is not out there on the street in harms way anymore.

Just FYI. Ed Troyer is all over the radio advising that there is no official go fund me page up for donations to the officers family. They are all fake.

A couple of officers shot down in Tucson this morning. Both are in stable condition and the good guys scored the pink mist on the perp!  :rockin: :guns:

There are some crazy stories coming from last night.

Officers stayed in the house after the initial shooting and were being fired at through the floors/walls. This was before SWAT got there and traded places.

Donations are being accepted for Tacoma Police Officer Reginald “Jake” Gutierrez at any Wells Fargo.

I feel badly for the fallen officers family and friends. He was doing his job to protect someone being abused. Very sad situation.

I am sure, I could NOT have taken that shot the sniper did to take the bad guy out, holding a child at gun point.

Two heroes.

Sad.  Homeowner who had been in the house put out an appropriate statement.
