hand held card reader?

looking in to getting one anyone have experience with them and which would you choose

I bought the adapter for my phone. Works great and was around 20.00.

What phone do you have? I have the I phone and it was a plug and go. I'll look and see what brand.

If you have an old digital camera, that would work. Thats what I use

If you have an old digital camera, that would work. Thats what I use
Problem is, some of the trail cameras (Cuddeback and StealthCam for example), format the card so that it can't be read when you pop it into a digital camera. I have an iPhone 6s Plus and used the apple SD adapter this year to view my pics. The apple adapter only works with (I believe) the 5s and later iPhones.

I used the boneview this whole season with an iPhone. Worked great until it stopped working.
