Winchester Model 1200 part needed
« on: February 12, 2009, 03:45:12 PM »
I am not having any luck getting a part I broke on my Winchester model 120 shotgun. My gun says model 120 but from what I can tell the parts for a 1200 are interchangeable. I broke the Slide Arm Extension w/ 6 1/4 Tube. The local gun shop I talked to can't find the part. I found it listed online at E-gunparts.com but according to them Winchester is no longer in business and they have no other supplier. Any ideas???
Thanks in advance

Check with Numrich Gun Parts Inc. They carry your part http://www.e-gunparts.com/productschem.asp?chrMasterModel=0950z1200

The Key number is 46 and the Item number is 260720

They are out of stock but it is a good place to start

I have to get the part for this gun. It is my favorite. I bought it new 20 years ago. When it shoots, birds die. :mgun2:

What are you going to do?

Well me, I do not have any guns, gave away or sold them 15 years ago.

What actually broke?  One of the arm piece that extends from the tube?

Can it be welded together, then grind down smooth, re-blued?

Thanks to everyone and their ideas but 12Gauge is the winner. He found the part I needed at Gunbroker and with the "buy it now option" I should have it in a week.

I have a 1200 12 ga I never use. The rear stock is loose, but I hunted it for a few years. Really isnt in bad shape at all. And works just fine. If ya want a backup. Its just sittin. Make me a cheap offer or trade for somthing...

I could use a decent scope for my .22.

hawkenbob, If doesn't want it I might.  Does it have the "winchoke"?  I have used my 1200 for 30+ years and love it.
