What glue for bone

Got a skull to piece back together.  Bad kill shot :(  What is best glue to use for bone?

I just used gorilla glue on some horns. With a skull you will only need a teeeny tiny bit of it at each location!! Tiny.

My only experience with gorilla glue had it expand too much, maybe they make different types ?

I had the nose pieces break off of a Euro mount.  I used fletching glue.

I used gorilla glue on one this summer. It does expand, but can be trimmed easily. I didn't like the color difference though.

Regular 'Super Glue' works really well, its clear and strong. In my experience its more about the application than anything else. Most glues are shiny when they dry, so when you're piecing the skull back together opt for application of the glue to the backside of the two pieces vs. the front so it doesn't show. I have a fair amount of the bear skulls that are brought in each year for euros that the hunter(s) decided to do a 'zombie double tap' with one to the head  :bash:. Its a Tetris game putting the skull back together...I usually put a very small amount right along the edge of the two pieces that are going to be put together and then re-gluing on the backside once the first amount dries. If you get a lot on the outside that is showing, a very small amount of acetone on and CLEAN paper towel will remove the excess before it cures fully.
Best of luck!!

E6000... Hands down the best glue I've ever used. You can get it in the craft section at the Wal-Mart. Also I believe Home Depot is carrying it as well now. I use it on EVERYTHING.

I use superglue.  I have a wolfeel skull that I found on the beach and glued together 20 years ago that is still stuck together.  Some of my skin is still stuck to that skull....

Thanks for the info, I'll be using both superglue and E6000.  Wife does a lot of crafts and has that on hand.  Fills in good for the teeth.  Think I'll need a Dremel to get some pieces back together.  Drying the skull now.

If you put super glue gel on both sides then sprinkle borax on one side it's super strong .
