Cool clouds on the water.
« on: February 12, 2009, 10:39:15 PM »
Sunday took the new dog with the family for a walk down on the waterfront.
Thought the clouds looked pretty cool.

Great shot, Elkman.  Checked out your galleries, awesome work.  Looking forward to shooting some mulie pics with you and the Pope this November.

Awesome picture. If you don't mind, what kind of camera + attachments are you using to get photos like that?

Thanks Guy's!
Shooting with a Nikon D3 with a 24mm f2.8 lens.
No special attachments.
Post processed with Photoshop CS3, that's where the magic is done.  ;)

Yes wapitihunter, Commencement Bay from the Silver cloud hotel boardwalk along the north side.

Elkman, that is a great shot.  I really liked your eagle shot too.  Maybe some day you and the pope can meet up with Ricochet and I down here.  Either in July for some velvet buck pics. or in Nov. when they are in the rut.  I'm sure that I can learn a lot from you guys on taking better photos.

That is a wall hanger for sure.  Folks would pay good money for that kind of work.

Great shot Elkman, you dont see the water that calm with clouds like that too often out there, at least not when I'm out there fishing.
