« on: December 12, 2016, 06:57:53 PM »
Looking for a new bow, leaning towards Hoyt.  Who/ where is the best place to get one in the spokane area.  Putting this in the elk tread because thats what i am using the bow for.

Spokane Valley Archery, probably the best around if you're looking for sound advise and people who've been in the industry for a very long time.  Good luck

I won't ever personally darken the door of sva. I like to be treated as a human being when I walk into a place of business. That has never happened there for me.

I have been there a few times,  they tuned my bow and I was not impressed, long story.  I have nothing against them I still think its a good shop.  Does anyone know of any other options out there?

You will see a lot of hate for SVA here.

But they are still the best answer to your question. Great inventory, Knowledge, longevity.

Josh will be there next year and the year after.

There's an archery shop on 395 past Chewelah about 5 miles north on the right. Lady Red, as she is called, was a shooter for Hoyt if I remember right. I drove 75 miles for her set my bow up and would not let me leave the shop until SHE was satisfied everything was good to go. She has a very good reputation and all the guys I knew in Curlew went to her.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

You might wanna call Greg at Whitetail plus before you drive there. I heard that he is gonna be shutting down for a little bit so he can move his shop. Not sure when that is going to happen. But he is a great guy.

I have used whitetail's plus several times.  I have been back once to SVA, and not likely going to happen again.  Unless I am spending money on their range membership or buying a new bow, I always get treated as a second class citizen.  Gregg @ whitetail's plus has been very helpful over the last 6-8 years.

I have heard great thing's about Red's in Chewelah, but never actually made it to her shop.  I believe the official name is Camo'd Arrow if you are doing some searching.
