Club-Horn Rocky Mt Bull Euro
« on: December 12, 2016, 08:52:06 PM »
Just finished up this unique European. This distinct bull went over the hill upon the arrow hitting him on his death roll shattering his G2 and G3 and was also velvet covered everything past the G4 and the club horn side which was white antler. The bull had obviously been in some serious fights in the course of his life as the right side club-horn was completely disconnected from the main skull and hanging loose by mere skin with evidence of a past skull fracture (reason for the pedicle being over to the side and much lower than the left side) and a broken eye socket that since healed. Keeping it brief...after my bugs got through with the skull, degreased, and whitened, had to repair/rebuild the tines, re-attach club horn side to the badly deformed pedicle, and re-color the horns to a natural state. Thought I would post due to its unique configuration.
As always, thank you to the owner for the work and unusual project!

Way cool bull, great mount.
Disappointments are inevitable, misery is optional.
