The Fur Shed Newsletter
« on: December 13, 2016, 12:00:02 PM »

The Fur Shed Newsletterr ...... well its not really a newsletter any more with 20 pages.  This next issue has 24 pages.  I'm thinking we are heading toward something else.
I picked up three more Advertisers for this issue (one reason why it grew 4 more pages).  I ask you guys to support our Advertisers, we have some great ones.
It is at the Printer and should be on your doorstep by next week.
This issue has the "Winter Rendezvous & Fur Sale" in it.  Check out the agenda and we'll see you all there.

Anyway, I was wondering if there is anything special you folks would like to see new in the newsletter (more pictures, contest, puzzles, cooking recipes, etc.)?
Anything you don't like in it?
The Animal Profile will be coming to an end by the last Volume Issue (#4 of 4, two to go).  It has taken me four years to do all Fur-bearers that I can think of.
What would you like to see in its place?

Ya back articles for the newbies would be great. Maybe you should re do the animal articles for those that missed the old.

If we join, will the organization use profits to lobby to get our real trapping rights back?

Two ways to get the newsletter.

2nd, you can get back issue directly from me.  Each back issue cost $3.50 or the set four, for $12.00 includes shipping.
Make the check out to WSTA and mail it to me.
I will forward the check to our treasurer and send you your order.
PM me and I will give you my address and get your information.

ABSOLUTELY !
Bruce and George are always down in Olympia working on your behalf (members and non-members) with different people  in the Wildlife Department and Legislators on all wildlife issues that come up including Fur Trapping and WCO issues.  So come join us and support the "only" state wildlife organization that has your interest.   And you will get a great newsletter ......  ;) ;)

So back to the original question.  What would you like to see new in the newsletter / magazine?

Oh................it looks like I have a couple more new people that want to Advertise with us in the upcoming issues (starting with the spring issue) and one of them is a big company.  Can't say who it is yet but if they do, its going to surprise you.

I can't remember if there was any but maybe have more articles showing stuff being made out of the fur or even possibly where to send fur to have things made. Considering fur prices, I would think that's something a lot of trappers are looking into rather than sending to auction. That's my plan this year.

I like that idea, anybody want to write an article or two on that subject?
