west side sheds
« on: February 13, 2009, 06:49:05 AM »
I was shed hunting in one of my favorite bt spots and came across the rosie shed, i spent the rest of the day looking for the other side but had no luck. I went back the following day to continue looking, and after tromping around in the alder flat were i had found the elk shed i decided to work the neighboring clearcut. Found the 2pt. and 3pt. within the next 10 min. Never found the other side to any of them!

That looks like a good day of finds for the westside.

Great job man, it's hard finding sheds on this side of the mountains!

Nice!!  Two blacktail sheds in 10 minutes is remarkable.  That other elk shed is there somewhere.  They don't carry one side long when they are mature bulls.  I'd bet it's within 100 yards of where you found that one but it's possible someone else found it (?).
