Ruger Hawkeye 300 RCM
« on: February 13, 2009, 07:11:03 AM »
Does anyone have a the new Ruger Hawkeye chambered in 300 RCM? I'm a big fan of Ruger and a big fan of .30 cal for hunting.  I've held one at a local gun shop and like the way it feels. I'm just wondering if anybody has used one in the field and how well they perform.  Any info would be great.

I am waiting for them to come out with one with no open sights, then I will buy one.
I've hunted almost everyday of my life, the rest have been wasted.

I know that they are chambering them in the No.1 and the compact bolt gun.  The compact dosnt have sights, I'm not sure about the single shot.
