Very cool!  That's what I do.
 Euro it out myself and put the cape in the freezer.  I usually cape out my deer and save the capes until I have enough of them to trade to a taxi for some credit.  Then I dig out the euro and the capes and drop them off along with some cash, pay off the balance when the work is done.   
That's a great buck by the way.  Special draw, or general hunt?

Thank you guys. Yes that is a skull hooked mount that I bought at my local outdoor store. Bob's sporting good. I think it was a out 35 dollars.

Pathfinder 101, this was a general tag on state land in south east idaho. My buddy killed a nice buck as well bigger than the one I killed. You can find his buck on the 5 point blacktail/mule deer post under deer hunting. Page 25 bales959

 Much easier and saves freezer space if you just give the capes to the taxi each year and run up a credit. It also prevents the occasional catastrophe of freezer burn or power outage that results in lost capes.

 Of course you need to find a reputable taxi that you trust to be in business long enough for you to eventually cash in, but I think there are plenty of those on this site alone.

 Another good option is to give it to the taxi right away and have it tanned, then just hang it for later.

That's creepy Phool.  It's like you are spying on my house.  This summer when I was in Alaska our freezer burned out and when I got home my wife had thrown out 2 mule deer capes...

I have ahd bad luck with taxidermists though.  The first one I did this with took 5 years to finish my deer (turned out great though... no complaints with the work).  The last one finished up the job in a year (also a great job), but closed up his shop and moved to Arizona.

...maybe I should start paying full price...
