East side turkeys

How are the birds doing on the east side this winter?
If it flies it dies.

I haven't seen any latley around central WA. ButI have seen tracks all over the place I hunt. I am going to put my camera out next weekend and see if I can't get some on film. If I get some I will put pics up.

they seem to be doing good around hunters and fruitland, over their yaesterday. I don't think we will have a bad winter kill. the snow is hard so they can stay on top and walk.

Has a lot of the snow melted? Or is there still going to be quite a bit over there this year?

All the southern facing slopes are void of snow, ans the valley and north facing slopes olny have about 8-10" left where I hunt so I am thinking there will be some snow but the turkeys are already working the south slopes so it should be easy to find them.

Hopefully it warms up enough to melt off more of that snow in the NE. Doesn't sound like there is much snow around Central Washington.
