First load back to the truck is always in the day pack, the rest of the loads come out on the pack frame.

Having tried it I don't find any advantage to using packboard over the kuiu.   With the meat in a Kuiu XL bag or in a qtr bag I strap it between the pack and frame and then shuttle loads out.  Go a half mile, drop the meat hike back for a second load, go a mile, then back for first load you dropped.   Shuttle til out. Gives you a rest while still moving vs stopping to take a rest.  ( I'm 60 packing up to 100 #)  Takes just a minute to drop load or put new one in.
