How can they tell if you used anything but the boot wax? The rubber rands got tore up on my last hunt so I printed off the warranty form since they are under a year and noticed a section about using anything but Kentrek boot wax voids the warranty.
I am no leather expert, but I cannot see how any brand other than Kenetrek can be so devastating to the boot it voids all warranty work.
So can they really tell if another brand was used in the past if I were to put some of the Kenetrek wax on before I sent them back? Do they send them to a lab for analysis?
