I would let him grow for a couple years before taking him. Can't shoot wall hangers if you take the little ones. Great picture though .Watched this Black tail grow up for a couple years before I took him and yes a true black tail west of  I-5

Great Photo! I think he looks mature enough that he should have more points, hopefully someone will shoot him next season and get him out of the gene pool!

I'd shoot that buck just about anywhere I was hunting. Huge 2's are pretty cool in my opinion.
