Merry Xmas to me
. After chewing on which new bow to get for quite some time, I decided to revert to my roots (Darton was my first hunting bow in the mid/late 70s; I also had one in the early 90s) and pull the trigger on Darton Archery's brand spanking new model, the Maverick II. It was between the DS-3800 and the new Maverick and the Maverick got the nod. The Alpine Archery bow is somewhat sad being relegated to the backup role, but, she'll get through it and serve her new position proudly I'm sure. The Darton won't be shipped for about four weeks (they're getting lotsa orders on the new model). I did get most of the accessories ordered including a Black Gold sight, TT rest, hunting stabilizer, bow sling, and a bow vise so I can really screw things up
. Anxious to get the new stick flinger in and get it set up. Oh, I ordered the bow in the Typhoon color scheme.
