You guys hi-jack away . Anyone ever part out an AR ?  Now I might just sell off the stuff I don't want ( everything except upper/lower receivers) and buy different. Not sure how to price the old stuff. What's your thoughts ?
Troy FF rail ,  DPMS barrel  , 6 position stock ( everythings been used for 10 shots )
B23 I was just researching the 20 Practical  :chuckle:
I'd be interested in the barrel for the right price...I have no Idea what its worth though oops

Honestly I have no clue if I need to sell/ change the barrel or not. What I want to do is change out the 7" rail for a 13" rail , but the gas block on the rifle now has a picattinney rail on top of it that's flush with the handguard rail.   Am I right in thinking I just need to order a lo-profile gas block ?

It looks like this thread may be a little older, but yes you are correct in thinking you would only need a low profile gas block to extend your rail.

That's what I did . Picked up an adjustable Seekins lo pro block and 12" Seekins rail.  Debating on going to a mid length gas system though.
