From a very very basic Google search of "2012 Nissan juke rack and pinion", it looks like prices are $300 - $700 friending in which route you go.
Good to get another opinion.Often times, the labor to disassemble, diagnose and repair the components in an assembly like that can eat up the initial price difference between the components and the assembly. While you may save a few hundred bucks, you'd have an assembly that was a mix of new parts and parts that were involved in the accident. If you went that route, you'd need to trust your mechanic to be able to diagnose the issues correctly up front, or you'll be back to let him take another stab at it. My
Just heard she got her quote from Les Schwab. Her brother is taking her to a collision repair center tomorrow. Also additional pictures added. Les Schwab rep took the pictures btw
Take it to a actual mechanic. Les Schwab is for tires.

And make sure the collision center can measure and see what's bent and what's not bent. Stuff is going to add up quick there. If insurance isn't involved yet, I'd get the ball rolling with them.

Suggested list on a rack for a 2wd Juke is $2838.75. Labor time is 3.5 hrs, so that seems a little high, but fluid will need flushed and an alignment done. Also appears to need a control arm as well. Ouch.

Ouch.If MSRP is $2838.75, the $3k price is either rounded up for the sake of conversation or they're offering up a blown up matrix price. My .02

My .02Price can also be different from varying dealers if they are quoting a dealer part. I have two Chev dealers near me, one is 1 mile away the other is 8 miles away and there parts prices are different I also will jump on the insurance bandwagon and there is more messed up than the rack
