I am shooting 140 Gr Hornady ELD-X Match and getting <.5 MOA accuracy. recoil is minute and the rifle handles nicely. Honestly It is the most accurate rifle I have ever owned.

Good to hear. I think that about settles it for me.

I have the predator in the 6.5 and absolutely love it, had it for two years and shot two deer using the 129 grain hornady SST you will not be disappointed!

Hi,

Went to the Ruger website..... noticed that the 308Win has an 18" tube where all other calibers are 22"...

Why would that be?

Diminishing returns.

The 308/762 performs pretty good at that barrel length and with a suppressor it will still give you a fairly compact package.

here is a pic of a coyote shot in the neck at 304yds with the 140Gr ELD X. He turned around and a shoulder shot turned into a neck shot. Sometimes once you begin to apply pressure to the trigger it is physically impossible to not continue until the shot breaks. I don't know why that is. Maybe its a bad fundamental.
