For Marten about 3,000 to timberline looking at old growth and big old hemlock
I know that's where you trap them,hake but they can be found lower down sometimes. Few areas near me are about 2500' and all my buddy's that go snow wheeling see there tracks regularly and occasionally see one running around. Seems near me they are lower down and smaller in size

Here on the East side of the Cascades marten are found above 1500 feet to the timberline. if that helps,

Another small beaver today . All cat cages are ready to go east side tomorrow morning and a few marten cages too !!
