Shed traps

With deer starting to shed in some areas it's already bringing out the "shed trap talk". This is incredibly dangerous for the deer as you can see. Put the food out and keep them in the area and you will obtain the results the trap is theoretically supposed to do but without the potential death. Do some research on the process of antler shedding and you will realize how wrong it would be to put them out. They are not like teeth that need convincing to fall off. Once testosterone levels fall they start the decalcification. After that happens its a matter of hours to drop. Putting anything out that will rip them off is dangerous and unethical end of story.
****Please share with your hunting buddies to spread the word.****

///EDIT\\ We know that not all these pictures are from traps. Just showing what can and will happen if you use wire/net antler traps. Not many people are dumb enough to post pictures of bucks they killed using them so we are just showing what can happen. If you have better pictures comment them and we will use those too! Happy hunting.

:fire.:

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield

Why do you need antlers that bad?  Get a gas station job.
Look man, some times you just gotta roll the dice
