Looking for waterproof hunting pack

Im looking for the most waterproof hunting back pack. My budget is $200 and I want a comfortable day pack that is some what waterproof. I am fine with some moisture getting through I just don't want puddles in my bag. I currently have a $30 cabelas top load bag which does a great job in the rain. Things get damp inside but never soaked. I'm tired of having to dig through it so I'm looking for a new pack with zippers. I'm looking at the badlands superday packs which look perfect but many reviews say not waterproof at all. Does anybody know much about badlands and water resistance? I love their warrenty and really want a badlands bag but I'm worried about water getting in. I duck hunt in the rain a lot which is why I'm worried about spending $150-$200

Here ya go, look no farther than our own classifieds, Eberlestock Team Elk pack. I have the same pack, It's waterproof but I bought the rain cover from Eberlestock, I like the extra protection.

Fully waterproof packs are going to be $$$$. For an easier option, find the pack that fits you best, with the features you want and invest in a handful of roll top ultralight dry bags. These are great for packing clothes and all the essentials that need to stay dry.

My Badlands 2800 makes a great day pack and over nighter and has a built in rain fly.  I have hiked in the pouring rain many times and nothing has got wet.

I had an elberstock X1 that was surprisingly waterproof for the first few years of its life, even hunting and fishing on the coast. That pack had some really great things (pretty dang waterproof, quiet, gun scabbard, quiet, etc) and some crappy things (load lifters that don’t work, flexy frame, heavy, not enough adjustment for torso length, etc.)

Now for elk hunting on the coast I have a blaze range drybag I lash to my pack frame.

If you want a truly watproof back pack, Simms makes dry bag back packs that are pretty nice

Use a freighter style pack with a load sling and roll top dry bag...no frills...but works

No thanks on a waterproof pack! heavy, hold moisture when wet and a complete pain to clean if you get it bloody. If there are things you need to keep dry buy a dry sack they only weigh a couple oz's

These are what I use with my Kifaru. They are bad ass. Super tough and water proof as hell. Keeps everything nice and tight
