Curious on wat sight I should get for my new bow I have been told spot Hogg or ok hha optimizer have been wat people have been telling me just want the best affordable sight

Trophy Ridge  makes good affordable sights.
Its easy to find better sights but there not what I call affordable.

I have a  spot Hogg on mine and like it but almost cried when buying.

I am using a SpottHogg Hunter 3 pin sight. I got it off eBay for around $180 brand new.

I started with a 5 pin tru glo sight and shot that this last year, it was great for shooting targets, but when it came time to put the pin on the shoulder it was a little hard to see what was behind 3 pins stacked on top of one another(one pin broke, and I only had 20,30,40 yards set). When I bought my new Rize I added on an HHA Optimizer, and feel way more comfortable with that than I did with the multiple pin sight. The less clutter the easier it will be to focus on the target. I know a lot of people prefer the multiple pins vs the single pins, but to each their own.

You can get a MBG Rush sight for a bit over 100 bones.  Rock solid sight that will both perform and last.  IMO, I'd stay away from almost all of the budget sights (True Glow, etc.).  The budget sight price is appealing yes, and, may seem to perform OK for a while but will eventually fail after taking your bow for brushy walks/crawls.  Nothing sucks worse than to have the tip of your fiber optic pin break.

Lots of ways to go here and lots of price points too. 3,5 or 7 pin fixed, fixed pin slider, single pin slider, fixed pin with slider etc....you can spend from $40-$400, usually you get what you pay for like anything else....all depends on what you want, hunting only, hunting and 3D? Most sights these days are good, have their pro's n con's. Other thing to look at is pin size, I shoot .010", I tend to think most use .019" but you can get them up to .029" usually.

I use a Option Archery (used to be Trophy Taker), Option 8 Sight. It has 8 fixed pins that move out of the way of my 1 pin slider. I can use it as a slider from 10-138 yards, or close the fixed pins and use it 20-80 with the slider set at 90. It does it all but is spendy. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions...

I wouldn't call Spot Hog or HHA the best "affordable" sights. They're great sights but they're kind of up there in price to be part of the affordable category. I'd take Phantoms advice and look at some MBG sights if you're looking for solid, affordable sights.

Field Logic IQ 5 or 7 pin, never looked back.

The little retina lock thing takes a half second glimpse at, lets you know you're not holding the bow wrong. Especially handy when you're leaning around a tree/rock/etc.

Helped improve my accuracy tremendously.
