Sorry I'm not versed in weaponery , and am not sure what BMG is . I am aware of your special interest so am I safe to assume it's Bigfoot's Mighty Gun? :dunno:

Oh my goodness, stop, just stop.  :chuckle:

We should probably establish a 600yd minimum as well, just to keep it sporting.

The 50 BMGAI..........   the training wheels it will take to make the leap to 25mm (which coincidentally might be a good minimum chambering for elk).

50BMG is just a big 30-06 and 30-06 sucks! 25MM should be the minimum!

Did you know that there is a man-carried, shoulder-fired bolt action rifle chambered in 25mm AA?

Seriously.   Manufactured by Barrett.   But I think still only available to military.

Sad, because it would make a great Blacktail brush gun.
