Montana pheasant
« on: December 27, 2016, 06:35:01 PM »
Super tough day in Choteau / Conrad today. We got access to some good property that held bird's but they were running and flushed wild. It was blowing a steady 25 most of the day as well.

Weather was worse today but we gained access to some trees and the pup was able to point me a limit.

We left the God forsaken wind for Dillon and finished out the trip with nymphing the Ruby river and the Poindexter slew. I  caught a few fish and re tied a lot of setups for the boy's. My brother caught a brook trout on the Ruby never seen that before. Back home now great trip. I  love MT.
