not once but twice
« on: December 27, 2016, 12:16:15 PM »
So Christmas morning I went to my shop to start a fire and decided to shoot a few arrows.  This is the result.  Then the next day did the same routine with the same results.

It's cool the first time, till you star realizing how much money it is each time. After twice back to back I would be shooting less arrow's at a time :twocents:

Start shooting at a five spot target and you will have less of those. It's cool the first time, but like Scout said then it's gets more expensive than cool.

:yeah:

I've had two. Don't want any more. 5-spot is correct!

Shoot at different spots or backup further.

Yah I was excited on the first one and showed the wife.  She was some what excited for me too but wanted to know how much each arrow costs.  I am scared to show the second one to her.  It's a new bow so I am still trying get to get it dialed in at 20 yards but I think its getting very close to being dialed in now

Yeah, i think you might be getting close to getting it "dialed in". :)
Keep both to show off to your non-hunting friends and like others have suggested, get a 5-spot target.

Shooting like #@$& or too well ...  :bdid: ... stop.  I shoot at different spots.  Its fun stacking them next to each other, but a few ruined arrows is enough for me.

Don't know if you archers still use the term , but we used to call those a Robin Hood.

I just spray painted a bunch of small spots on my target. They don't need to be spaced very far apart. Just enough so you're not shooting at the same spot every time. If you have a 6 arrow quiver, put 6 spots on it. That is how I did it.

Just some friendly advice, check those nocks after shooting those tight groups. I always believed broken nocks lead to accidental dry fires. Saw it happen once and  it was ugly
