Got that gun in 22WRM and it's one bad arse little gun!  But I hope they fired the idiot that designed that magazine...what the heck was that moron thinking?  Guess maybe he wasn't and that's the problem.

Great shooter and worth the money, though.

CZ 527 Varmint in 17 Hornet.  If you're looking for a smallish rifle that handles like a rimfire and is nearly as quiet as one but with a lot more pop on the other end, these little CZ 527's in 17 Hornet are a sweetheart to shoot.  The CZ's 527's are extremely accurate, have an outstanding trigger and just an all around great quality little gun.  I prefer the Varmint model over the American and it only weighs slightly more.

A CZ 527 in 204 wouldn't be a bad choice either.

Nice older 22lr.
Think Kimber or Win mod 52 from CMP.
Used Anschutz.

I've always wanted either a .17 or a .22-250. If you don't have an AR, you should get an AR. What's your budget?

I'd go for a used Browning semi-auto .22lr.

Ya' beat me to it.  I could go w/either 22 Hornet or 17 Hornet.  Both mine are American's, for the same reason I kinda' wish I had gone w/the Varmint in the 17 though.  There are 527 Varmints out there right now in 17 Remington and that might interest me too though.  I have a Sako action Ultra Wildcat in 17 Remington and have thought about the CZ until there were none the last time they were available.

I am getting right at 3,250 w/40 Vmax out of the 22 Hornet and that is what makes it a toss up.  The 17 shoots flatter, but the 22 seems to hit a bit harder
