The 90 grain ab was pretty awesome on the couple deer I saw shot with them. One was my wife before we were married. 9 year old (aged by wdfw) whitetail buck, 270 yards and one shot straight through both shoulder ball sockets. Buck crumpled and fell instantly. There was also a average buck shot at 30 yards and straight down. I shot a doe at 170 and had good result also. That is a pretty dang good bullet in the 243.

I've tried a few different powders with the 90gr AB in my daughters Ruger American and can only come up with about 1.5" groups with imr 4350. I'm bound and determined to make them work. Looks like we'll be doing a lot of shooting this summer.

I use the federal fusions.Big bear, big buck and a bobcat yesterday
I ordered 500 nosler e tip bullets in 86gr. Hope to develop a good load and use these out of the 243. Should be able to get good speed and hunt solid to 300 yards without any issues. Anybody have any experience with these bullets and performance?
